Home sweet home!

Well well well!
After only 43 days here seems I can't resist the urge to fly back home!
Well, let me justify myself by saying that I reeeeally need some warmer clothes, jumpers, coats, boots...ah, I NEED them!
And yes, I am flying back also because...well, because I couldn't spoil this occasion to see my BF after such a long time! Having a long distance relationship is not easy, everyone knows that, so I got the chance to spend some time with him and I took it without further ados!
So, yay, it has come at last! I had booked the flight a month ago and the days seem to have gone by so slowly! Think that's what happens when you're desperately waiting for something ;-)
I will be staying home for two weeks, how cool!
But I'll keep you posted, maybe with cute pic of my dog, who knows?!
See ya!

First thing first! Beauty shopping!

So what's the first thing a girl can think of just as soon as she puts her feet on the British ground?
Shopping, of course!
And in this case I've done some beauty shopping over the last few weeks, mostly products I can't seem able to find in Italy!

So first is a blush. I have never been to keen on blushes, still struggling to find the perfect shade; so as soon as I walked in Boots, I went to the Sleek counter and picked up this one
It is a very nice nude peachy shade (it comes up more pinky that it really is), very subtle and great for pale skin (like mine); it is also great to be used for some delicate contouring!
It is in the shade 921- Suede

Also from Sleek Makeup I got this gorgeous lipstick

In camera it comes up completely different and lighter, in reality it is a dark cherry red (as the name suggests :P )
It is a really good lipstick, not heavy on the lips, stays on for a long long time tho it's not a matte finish and last but not least the price has its part! I can't remember the exact prices of these products but they both were around £4/5 for the blush and £3/4 for the lipstick!
I am loving them so much!

Moving on, I bought the Origins Super Spot Remover, a must-have when you're going through such a climate/place change like the one I am experiencing!

So here it is! I have already tried it and got to say that this boy does his job! It really worked and it's totally worth the price (£13).
The day in which I bought the Spot Remover, I was lucky enough to receive a little box with three sample size Origins products
The products are (left to right) :
• Checks and Balances - Frothy face wash
• A Perfect World SPF 25 - Age-defense moisturizer with white tea
• Modern Friction - Nature's gentle dermabrasion

Now, I am really picky when it comes to face products, as I have an extremely delicate skin and almost everything I have tried has somehow given me problems, even products which are meant to be for sensitive skin. So when I saw these I was reluctant but still willing to give them a try. So far I have trued the Face Wash and the Dermabrasion and I have to say that they do work! I really like them, especially the Face Wash; the dermabrasion has some little particles in it that help you scrub your skin, so although it is good, it still made my skin a little bit too dry, but I liked it nonetheless.

So this was my first beauty splurge of the month!

Hope you enjoyed the post and let me know if you have doubts, suggestion, or anything else!

Haul!

Hello everyone! This is my first haul, and these are some of the things I've been buying lately.
Hope you enjoy ;)

L'Oreal Color Infallible- #15-FLASHBACK SILVER
The first one is an eyeshadow that I wanted to buy for so long, but I kind of never found the right shade. Then, I saw this one: amazing! I have another "Color Infallible" eyeshadow, which is a wonderful shimmery gold. They are really pigmented and semi-loose powder, that's why they have that little black thing, to keep the powder in place, avoiding it to go everywhere in your case, wonderful idea! It is really easy to use and it's the kind of eyeshadow that you can put on and you're ready to go!

 RIMMEL NAIL POLISH-#600 DELICIOUSLY DARK
This nail polish is maybe the only one I've seen in this shade, it's incredible. It is not black nor totally plum, but just right in the middle, perfect if you want a dark colour on your nails, but don't want to go for the usual black!
 LAYLA NAIL POLISH-#210(SILVER)
Wonderful colour, I bought this for Christmas/New Year's parties, maybe with a black base coat. It is a little bit sheer, so if you don't apply a dark coat first, you'll still see your nail, which is not as bad as it seems ;)
 DEBORAH SHINE TECH #30(BLACK)
Simple black nail polish, not so resistant as it promises, but looks really good and resists a bit longer with a good top coat. (I know it looks blue in the pic, but I swear, it's black!)
